Spicy clam chowder, excellent. Pretzels with beer cheese, excellent. Everything was definitely above average, fish taco's, Wedge salad with salmon which was cooked perfectly. Great menu so many choices, definitely coming back!!

We had a wonderful experience here! Between the three of us that dined, we had chicken fingers with french fries, cobb salad with chicken, and a bleu cheese stuffed hamburger. Portions were huge, and everything was well prepared. The burger was medium, as requested. The fried foods were tasty, but not greasy. Service was attentive but not overly so. If I had any complaints, it was that if you're not going to put avocado on it, you can't call it a cobb salad! ;)

Sat at the bar and had access to the full menu. Bartender very friendly and engaging with all customers. Clean establishment! Food was soooo good!! Strog was full.of mushrooms and beef was done perfectly. Husband got a burger and it tasted like it was grilled on an outdoor grill and done as ordered perfectly. Never would have happened upon the place in the little strip mall, but so glad we did!

In town taking my dad out for dinner for his birthday. He was in charge of picking the location and my brother and I were slightly nervous when we learned his choice was a strip mall bar. We were soon proven wrong! When you come, *when* not if, ask to sit in Lenore's section - super pleasant and great service. We all ordered the chicken and waffles on birthday boy orders and were definitely not disappointed. The Sriracha in the batter of the chicken tenders is not noticeable to the point of setting your mouth on fire but gives a nice contrast to the sweetness of the maple rum syrup. The chicken is moist, the waffle is light, the walnuts are a perfect crunch and I could keep going. The only thing that Im upset about is that I live 300+ miles away. Saw other plates of food come out during our meal and everything looked delicious. Will definitely be back~!

Man, what a 180 this place has made since changing their name over from "BK Ryans." I used to live pretty much around the block from this place, so I've been here quite a few times. I'm pretty impressed with how DELICIOUS the food is and also equally impressed with the staff. You can't go wrong with any of their appetizers, but I especially love their onion rings (and that Sriracha mayo dipping sauce that comes with them.) Burgers are great, fish fry is very good - and beef on weck is also a safe bet. Draught beer selection is okay for the area. You'll find some domestics, accompanied by a few Great Lakes/Southern Tier/Saranac selections. Not bad! Overall, if I still lived over this way - this would be my go to spot for a quick bite and a pint.

Average lunch fare. Took a while for the waitress to come over so we ordered drink sand food at the same time. Took a while for just the waters to come afterwards. Roast beef sandwich was average as was my friends chicken Caesar. Just a very average experience for the most prt. Decor could use some sprucing and the walls were a bit bare. Prices were what you would expect. I would return but probably if I was out of other options it was just very bland for me. Odd that it's closed on Sunday's as well.

Wonderful little find in a strip mall. Lorene waited on me, and if you come here, ask for her to wait on you. Super nice, super friendly, super helpful, and a kick ass waitress. I nibbled tonight - so tried their mozzarella bites. Balsamic drizzle was a nice touch. Had the buffalo shrimp too. All meat with a good, spicy buffalo sauce. Then went to a chicken caesar salad. Everything was tasty, though the caesar dressing was a bit disappointing. Finished dinner with a slice if pistachio cake. Simple, lite and tasty. Not a gourmet restaurant, and they don't pretend to be. But the food was tasty and the service was perfect. That's enough to earn my recommendation to the locals and anyone visiting. Come check it out.

"Unexpected Gem" Every time I see a restaurant in a strip mall I dismiss it thinking it can't be any good. Such is not the case with Exit 2. The food is fresh, freshly prepared, very tasty and fairly priced. On a cold winter night my wife and I secured a table near a double sided fireplace which added welcome warmth as well as adding to the ambiance which can be described as casual, comfortable and friendly. They do a good job with the lighting as well, something many restaurants manage to screw up. I love having a go to neighborhood place and Exit 2 is my new find. Visited January 2015

For a $13.00 fish fry, I've had much better. Choice of breaded or beer battered, I chose breaded. Very bland; addition of pepper didn't help. Cole slaw was chunky, very bland. "seasoned " fries were okay, won't be going back.

After the game My Friend and Myself decided to go Exit 2. My Friend had enjoyed His first visit and was anxious to find out that His first visit wasn't a fluke. He wasn't disappointed and It was My great fortune to tag along. We were greeted and seated in short order. We ordered two outstanding beers and pursued the menu. I had The Great Lakes Erie Monster and My Friend had the IPA from Southern Tier Brewing. The fact that they pour Great Lakes Beer is a plus. I have to be honest I was uncomfortable with the menu. The entrées did not come with salads or soups. I also thought the sides were pricey. I decided that I would hunker down and let the chips fall where they may. My friend went with the Shrimp Scampi. He was thoroughly happy with His dish. I went for the Ravioli. On the menu it is called Oli'o. It features fresh tomatoes, sautéed spinach and a oil, white wine sauce. I enjoyed it so much because the flavors came together and were delicate. That is what I look for in Italian Dishes, delicate flavor. I enjoyed the dish so much that I initial misgivings faded away. The Lovely Young Lady who owns the place came by and inquired whether or not We enjoyed our meals, a nice touch. I would not hesitate to dine here again.

Excellent! We have been eating here since they first opened. The owner makes sure everyone has a great meal by visiting each table. Service is outstanding. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Every meal I have had at Exit 2 is done to perfection. The sandwiches to the full dinners. And you can not beat their Fish Fry! My husband loves fish frys and says it is the best fish in town. Many new things on their menu I still must try.

From the moment I walked in, I knew that I would be back many many times in the future. In fact I was there three times the first week. Simply put the food is amazing. Made only with freshest ingredients, every dish is prepared expertly with care and love. It's clear that the chef has one goal in mind... to make the finest food to please each and every customer. On my first visit, I had one of the lunch specials: an open faced Turkey Club sandwich with bacon (of course), sauteed onions and red peppers covered with delicious cheddar cheese... and let's not forget that incredible side of potato salad. While we were eating, a server delivered an enormous platter of wings to another table. I knew right then that I'd be back later that day getting my take out order of wings. Be sure to ask about their different sauces for the wings! The wings are flavorful and crispy, but not dried out. I asked for extra sauce (medium) on the side so that I could add it later so the wings wouldn't get "soggy." I'll be trying one of their hotter sauces next time because while flavorful, I want a bit more heat (my personal preference). I met my wife there for lunch that Friday. She was pressed for time, so I called an hour ahead and asked if they could have our meals ready when we arrived. We were eagerly accommodated. I suspect that this might not be available for larger parties, but we were rewarded with an amazing lunch (Reuben with Chef Chips and a Chicken Sandwich with Sriracha Mayo and Sweet Potato Fries) that was served shortly after being seated. The service was excellent just like everything else. This is definitely one of my go to restaurants! Anyone that cares about the food they eat and their restaurant experience should put Exit 2 Bar and Grille at the top of their list of places to go. You won't be disappointed!

The food was ok but I ordered a quesadilla. It was suppose to be cheese and veggies-chicken and other meats were extra. I was halfway into my first triangle and noticed there was chicken in it. Not a problem to most but I am a vegetarian. If I had wanted meat I would have ordered it. Now I feel like I will have to ask every server if there is meat in my vegetarian entree.

The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was nice and quaint, but also not pretentious at the same time. Whatever you get....get on a pretzel roll, or a order of pretzels to start. I can't wait to go back.

The food was very good. Atmosphere was comfortable and the service was top notch. Highly recommend the beer cheese soup. If feeling adventurous, try the chicken and waffles. I never had them and they were very tasty! A completely positive experience.

There is nothing bad to say about this place. It's one of our favorite places to eat. Everything we've ordered in our numerous visits has been nothing short of wonderful and the staff and atmosphere are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Quality executed at its finest! My boyfriend and I decided to grab I bite to eat before heading out for some shopping. Located quietly in the corner of the Colvin Eggert plaza, Exit 2 is warmly inviting. The nice set up of the restaurant has the bar sectioned off from the dining area. We decided to sit in the dining area, with the waitress sitting us next to the small fireplace. She quickly handed us the menus. Oh the options! What to choose? The chicken and waffles description has my taste buds watering. Being my second time there (first time my father and boyfriend got the fish fry and I got the berries salad- which all were outstanding!), I wanted to explore something new on the menu. Coffee burger? Gemmolini? I couldn't decide. My boyfriend decided on the "build your own burger" & I finally went with my watering taste buds and got the chicken and waffles, but not before we settled in an order of chicken fingers for an appetizer. The fingers came out- lightly battered, with sides of carrots, celery & blue cheese. Best. Chicken. Fingers. Ever. Not the flattened-overly battered- out of the freezer- fingers that every other place slaps on your plate. Not even close. These were plump juicy fingers that had a breaking that was to write home about. Now I was ready for my entree! I saw the waitress bringing the food over- mainly because I was watching her bring out everyone's dishes because I was curious to see what everyone was picking tonight. My mountain of chicken laid on top of a warm Belgian waffle with light drizzles if maple syrup that seemed so perfectly displayed- it looked like a picture out of Bon Appetite. This dish, had the perfect combination of flavors dancing in your mouth! The portion was absolutely ginormous, leaving me enough to snack on tonight! Exit 2 has climbed the ranks in our regular outings! If you are looking for a great meal that you won't break the bank with- this is the spot!

This place opened a while ago and my girlfriend and I love it! The wings and flat breads are on point. Their sides are homemade and delish! We have had great experiences both dining in and taking-out. The bar is a nice size and great to watch a game in. When our parents are in from out-of-town we bring them to Exit 2. Check this place out for sure!

Very disappointed, place looked good, welcoming and comfortable. Service was good but felt a little rushed. Weren't finished with apps and just dropped entrees. The prices don't match what you get, not even close. Biggest compliant is the mussels, tasted good but several were shattered so there were shells you kept getting in your mouth, quite gross. Several didn't open, felt ripped off. We told the waitress she wasn't interested. I had the eggplant parm, I can't figure out how you could cook it and have it turn out so bad, my guess is that it was either cooked several days ago or had been frozen. Could get better at a diner for half the price. Too many good places to visit in Buffalo, won't be returning.

First of I'm a super picky individual, I work down the street from this restaurant and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I placed a to-go order, the food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly! From now on that'll be lunch and most likely my dinner spot! They rock!!!!

Well, I want to start off by saying I am a pretty picky eater. I had the house salad with the strawberry balsamic dressing, I added chicken that the server suggested, and it was delicious! For my main meal I had the Gemilini which consisted of pasta and a tomato sauce with sausage, it was also very delicious! The sausage was not spicy so it did not over power the taste of the dish but complimented it very well. I was so stuffed but the desserts sounded so good that I order a piece of apple pie for take home and am glad. The server Dana was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. I will be heading back to try the fish fry as they also do offer it any day of the week. Kudos on your opening and keep up the good food and staff and it will be an excellent addition to the community.

this place has great food ! esp for a newly opened restaurant ! the fish fry is great - not the best piece of fish ur ever going to have - but very good -- and the sides !!! omg - the are the BEST -- baked beans and brussel sprouts!! wings are the best in WNY if you like them hot and crispy. hot not suicide. the hot is not just more med sauce - not wet w sauce (that makes them not crisp anymore) - had them 3Xs - they are perfect ! bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp app - yum ! bar is fun too -- the chef here obviously gets it and the mgr came over to the table to ask how everything is on each visit ! A+ !!

Had been wanting to try this place and on a Friday night with a packed parking lot, we took this to be a good sign and stopped in. Turns out the bar (a separate section) is the monthly meeting spot for a National Guard group. The restaurant side had a few empty tables yet so there was no wait. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waitress was very personable and helpful. Excited to be waiting on "newbies" she told us about a couple of their popular appetizers and explained that everything is homemade. I had the beer battered haddock fish fry (light, crispy batter) which comes with choice of 2 homemade sides, and not just limited to potato salad, mac salad and cole slaw like all the other places. Here, you could have house salad, baked beans, veggies, pasta salad... even so, I had the traditional potato salad and coleslaw, because that's what I like and both were very good. Husband had the macaroni salad (also very good, I snagged a bite) with his burger. Very nice relaxed atmosphere. Owner (manager?) stopped by the table - always a nice touch. I'll definitely be going back soon for another fish dinner.
